All the time God is good.
Well... Thursday was D-day. We both went to the dentist. Ben needed a tooth worked on that they were "50/50" on. 50% sure it needed a root canal. I've been praying for WEEKS that somehow he wouldn't need one since we don't have dental insurance. Praise the Lord his $1,800 appointment ended up only costing $140! We could not have been more relieved!
On another note, my Grandpa has been in the hospital for a few weeks now. With all of our dental bills sucking our bank account dry we had no clue how I was going to be able to go to visit. Turned out that an anonymous supporter of my parents wants to help my sister and I go visit! We're beyond thrilled! This will be the first time that my grandparents have been able to meet the girls and because of the circumstances this is the only way we'll be able to see my parents, too! It's a bitter-sweet visit, but we're all so excited to have a long overdue family reunion. God never ceases to amaze me. He takes our helpless circumstances and turns them around to make them better than we ever could have imagined. In both good and bad times my dad always made us repeat after him, "God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good." And I'm glad he did.
